Please include your iOS version, Shipcue version (Settings › About) and what you expected to happen. Never send us your .p8 key file or its contents.

Getting started

Creating an App Store Connect API key

  1. Sign in to App Store Connect and open Users and Access › Integrations › App Store Connect API.
  2. Create a new key just for Shipcue. App Manager is a good role: it can release and withdraw versions but can't manage users.
  3. Download the .p8 file (Apple lets you download it only once) and note the Key ID and Issuer ID.
  4. In Shipcue, tap Add Account and import the file from Files, AirDrop or the clipboard.

Step by step, with Team and Individual keys: How to create an App Store Connect API key. More in the guides, including releasing from your iPhone, and the App Review status explainer.

I'm not getting push notifications

My key doesn't show up on my iPad

Keys sync through iCloud Keychain. Make sure it is turned on (Settings › your name › iCloud › Passwords and Keychain) and give it a few minutes. Keys you chose to keep on one device only don't sync; AirDrop the .p8 file instead.

Lost a device?

  1. Revoke the key in App Store Connect (Users and Access › Integrations › App Store Connect API › select the key › Revoke). This is the only step that stops the lost device from using the key with Apple.
  2. Create a new key and add it to Shipcue on a device you still have.
  3. In Shipcue › Settings › Devices, remove the lost device so it no longer gets push.
